INFRASTRUCTURE: TRANSPORTATION

Located just west of Augusta along Interstate 20, Columbia County is in the very Heart of the Southeast.  Our community is within a 2-3 hour drive from Atlanta, Savannah, Charleston, Charlotte, Greenville, and Spartanburg.  All major southeastern cities are accessible on major U.S. highways within a day’s drive.  The area is also accessible to regional, national & international airports, world class shipping ports in both Charleston and Savannah, and national rail transportation networks through CSX and Norfolk Southern.
