In both 2005 and 2006, Clarks Hill Lake was proud to host the major Bassmaster Tournament Trail Event - nationally televised by ESPN.

Clarks Hill Lake is the largest man-made lake east of the Mississippi River.  The 71,000-acre lake offers 1,200 miles of shoreline to Georgia and South Carolina. 

Mixed stands of hardwoods and pine trees cover the reservoir’s 1200-mile shoreline. More than 250 islands were created when the lake was filled, and they now provide homes for a diversity of plants, wildlife, and some endangered speciesClarks Hill Lake is a paradise for outdoorsmen and nature lovers.

51,000 sq ft Library & Performing Arts Center -
Opened Spring of 2006

The new $13 million library & cultural arts center in downtown Evans is a 51,000 sq. ft. community resource that offers meeting rooms, approximately 100 on-line computers, a full state-of-the-art performing arts theater, a picturesque outdoor amphitheater, and a beautiful children’s garden.
